PITTSFORD,N.Y. January 28, 2018 — RDG+Partners, a boutique accounting firm based in Pittsford, announced that it has promoted Christopher Harris, CPA, to partner. In his new role, Harris is responsible for managing the firm’s not-for-profit division, which provides strategic counsel and support for year-end bookkeeping, audits and reviews of financial statements, internal control, accounting policies, interim financial reporting,and adherence to compliance protocol.
Harris joins the firm’s six existing partners: John Rizzo, Christopher Gamble, Brian DiGiacco, Timothy Hern, Whitney Baniewicz, and Daniel Matteo.

Harris has more than 18 years of accounting experience, the majority of which have been spent supporting not-for-profit organizations. He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Geneseo, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is an active member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the New York State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA), while also serving as a board member and Vice Chair of Audit/Finance for Ability Partners, Inc. In 2013, he was named to the Rochester Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 list.
Harris currently resides in Victor, N.Y., with his wife, Courtney, and two children, Abby and Jack.
