About Daniel
Dan Matteo leads the firm’s consulting and M&A department. Dan brings experience from assurance, tax, and technology engagements to provide a holistic approach to aid growing clients. He has served a variety of industries including construction, real estate, wholesalers, auto dealers, technology companies, charter schools, firearms, financial institutions, and manufacturers. His focus is on proactive planning for high-growth companies, entity structure, transactional consulting, and mergers and acquisitions.
Dan received his M.S. degree in Accounting from Nazareth College of Rochester, while working internships at two other local accounting firms. After graduation, he joined a local accounting firm where he worked prior to joining RDG+Partners in October 2015. Dan became a partner at RDG in 2019.
Dan was certified in 2012 and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the New York State Society of CPAs and a Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor through AM&AA. He lives in Pittsford, NY with his wife, son and daughter.
